What this is
sourc.dev tracks, measures, and compares language models, AI tools, APIs, and developer infrastructure — over time, based entirely on verified data. It is not a review site. It is not a ranking based on opinion. It is the place a developer goes when they need to make a decision and want data, not someone else's verdict.

How data is collected
Primary sources
Every price, every context window, every benchmark score is sourced directly from official provider documentation. Source URL and verification date on every data point.
Append-only archive
Data is never deleted or overwritten. Every change creates a new record. The full history of every data point is permanently preserved and publicly visible at /changes.
Automated monitoring
A Cloudflare Worker checks provider pricing pages daily at 6am UTC. Price changes are detected, recorded, and trigger an automatic site rebuild within 60 seconds.
Confidence levels
Every data point carries a confidence level: verified — confirmed against primary source. reported — community or third-party reported. Only verified data appears in comparisons.
What sourc.dev does not do
sourc.dev never tells you what is best. No star ratings. No sponsored placements. No paid positions in rankings. If one model appears above another it is because measured data qualifies it — not because someone paid.
Operator
sourc.dev is built and operated by Fredrik Kallioniemi — investor, founder of HODLR & CO Labs. Built in 2025 to solve a personal problem: no verified, sourced, timestamped intelligence on the AI infrastructure market existed that could be trusted with real capital. Self-funded. Solo. Every number held to one standard: would I trust this with my own money?
